The former Bolton Wanderer player sauntered into Eko hotel midway into the concert to join his wife, Nkechi, who was already seated but looking forlorn and without the glow that she has come to be known for. At the end of the show while exchanging pleasantries with some of the comedians, JayJay almost fell victim to a young man who attempted to rob him of his iphone, which he slipped into the back pocket of his pants.
Promptly, he grabbed the petty thief by the arm, punched him on the right eye and proceeded to put his many years of football training to use. He kept kicking the thief so hard in the same manner he would have kicked a football into a goal keeper’s net! As the thief ran, so did he pursue after him, kicking him even harder! Really, the ex international should have been a boxer.
