THE NEW HERMES BAG
the new hermes kelly bag in rose gold and diamonds. Asking price?... $ 2 million
The actual bag is closer to the size of a bracelet than an actual bag! It can't even hold a pair of sunglasses, but it will still set you back $1.5 Euro which translates to nearly $2 million U.S. dollars.
Pierre Hardy designed the bags for Hermes haute bijouterie collection. Two versions were made of the bag. You can choose from the one made of intertwining chains covered in 11,000 diamonds, or a rose gold version of the famous Kelly bag with crocodile scales and 1,160 diamonds.
Hermes only made three of each bag and it took them two years to complete the product. If history has taught us anything about lavishly priced items, we bet these bracelets don't take very long to sell.
DESMOND ELLIOT AND FAMILY ON THE COVER OF GENEVIEVE MAG
HOW T0 GET A LUSCIOUS SKIN .
I would like to share with you some natural skin care knowledge, one of the most popular topics amongst the female honey fans, before you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on all those anti-aging and moisturizing creams. Try some easy, home-made tonic and remedy with honey first. And remember, the main ingredient in all those costly skin care products in the store could be honey! 6 Pampering Homemade Natural Skin Care Recipes with Honey
Here are some do-it-yourself, self-help, extremely easy to follow recipes to enjoy the benefits of honey in skin care. I recommend them also because all the ingredients that go along with them are so easily accessible. 1. Cucumber-Honey Toner:
Puree 1 cucumber in a blender, drain and collect the juice. Add 2 teaspoons of honey into the juice and mix. Pour the mixture into a bottle. Apply on the face and neck area with a cotton pad in the morning and at night. Air dry it and rinse clean. Store the bottle covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
2. Honey-Apple Toner:
In a blender or food processor, combine 1 peeled, cored apple with a tablespoon of honey and pulse until smooth. Apply mixture to face and allow it to stay for 15 minutes, then rinse.
3. Honey-Oats Face Scrub:
Combine 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon finely-ground almonds, 2 tablespoons dry oatmeal, and some lemon juice or yogurt to a luxurious and exfoliating facial scrub. Massage mixture gently onto face, then rinse with warm water. This blend gives a deeply emollient cleansing to the pores of your face. Almonds and oats are superb softening exfoliates.
4. Gentle Honey Cleanser:
Mix 1⁄4 cup honey, 1 tablespoon liquid soap and 1⁄2 cup glycerin (found in drug stores). Apply gently on to face using a face sponge. Rinse with warm water and pat face dry.
5. Hot Honey Bath:
Perhaps the easiest natural skin care recipe using honey -- Add 1/4 cup of honey to your hot bath water for silky and luscious skin. This is especially good for dry skin.
6. Honey Olive Hair Conditioner:
For lustrous, silky, healthy hair and scalp, simply combine 1/2 cup honey and 2 tablespoons to 1/4 cup olive oil. Massage scalp with this conditioner, then put on a shower cap for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse as usual. Good for hair revitalizing.
2) BE HEALTHY EAT MORE OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES .
- Be healthy! Exercising regularly gives you a
beautiful healthy glow, and can actually improve the condition of your
skin. Drink lots of water, 8 cups a day, but that may be too much for
sensitive people,so drink at least 6, to help your skin to be healthy,
and try to eat healthy, too. For example, don't eat loads of fatty,
greasy foods like fries .if you are going to wipe the sweat off of your
face use a clean towel but never your hands because during working out
your pores are opening up to sweat and putting your dirty hands on them
is not a good idea after a good work out always wash your face or have
a towel
2
Go to a chemist,
supermarket, or beauty shop, and buy make-up removing wipes, cleansing
lotion, toner, moisturizer, and facial scrub or antibacterial soap.
Make sure you get them for your skin type, eg. sensitive skin, dry
skin. As long as it is a reputable store, their own brand should be
cheaper, but the same quality as expensive brands.
3
Wash your face twice a day.
In the morning, splash your face with cold water for about 10 seconds.
Then pat dry with a washcloth or facial sponge. This helps stimulate
blood flow and is really good for the skin. Then get hot steamy water
in a cup or bowl and place your face above the water. This will open up
your pores. Then wash your face with a oil-free cleanser. Apply toner
or lemon juice then moisturize. It is also good to moisturize before
you go to bed.
4
Take off your make up with the wipes every night before you go to sleep. Wash your face with warm water again, use toner, and moisturizer.
5
Make an emergency zit
kit including a zit cream that has salicylic acid and/or benzoyl
peroxide, a cream that reduces redness, a concealer stick, and
translucent powder (the powder should absorb excess oils on your face). Of course, this is completely optional, but very useful.
6
Wait a few weeks; you should notice that your skin becomes smoother and clearer.
7
Remember if all else fails, go see a dermatologist!
8
Three words. Virgin Coconut Oil.
Make sure your face is clean before you apply it on. Massage your face
for 2-3 minutes. A little goes a long way. You only want to use one or two
drops. What you don't want to happen is to make your face shiny. If you
put too much on, gently remove the excess with a soft, clean towel.Hypoallergenic Nourishing Moisturizer

5 THINGS TO DO ON VALENTINE
FOR COUPLES
Time for that romantic moment, time for them special treats and time for that appreciation
It’s the celebration of love... Men show your ladies love give them treats show them you care and will always be there, same for ladies treat your men right cater for them, show them tender loving care it’s a 50/50 deal ...
1- exchange gifts on vals day and plan a weekend escapade in a spa resort this is a good way to get connected with your lover.
3- reenact your 1st date. go to the exact same place and the exact same thing you did ,its like reliving it which can also be a way of celebrating your anniversary and at the end of the night exchange cards and gifts.
4- not everyone enjoys crowded places so for these people you could just stay home bake your loved one a cake with a lovely message on it, order in, watch some dvd and get to know each other all over again.
5- finally, for those couples that like cliche things, you could go for dinner or cinema and play a game of truth or dare with a bottle of champagne afterwards.
FOR SINGLES
It’s that time of year when some of you moan or think about your ex.. Some curse and hate it because they don’t have a valentine... Most single people say Valentine is just a day well xmas is just a day as well but not any day it’s a special day..
So don’t get yourself worked out cz u alone on valentine, there's a lot you could do...
1- buy yourself a gift, something luxurious that you've always wanted.
2- throw a valentine party for singles out there...maybe a pool party even.
3- organize battle of the sexes. your male and female friends should play games ( for instance bowling) against each other.
4- since you,re single and watching a romantic movie may be depressing, invite some friends over for a movie night and pick out some horror or comedy movies.
5- go to events organized for singles, like speed dating.
IF YOU GOT A ROUNDED FACE,HERE ARE SOME HAIRSTYLES THAT WOULD PROBABLY SUIT YOU
IT IS IMPORTANT TO GET THE BASICS RIGHT! WHEN IT COMES TO HAIRSTYLES FOR ROUND FACES, THERE ARE A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN STYLING.
Parts
A side part with a sweeping fringe is the traditional recommendation for round faces. It is so feminine and it adds more dimension to the face with the different angles
A centre part can work well – it creates a balance between the roundness of the cheeks and the hairline.
Fringes
Side swept, longer bangs is the standard advice given to round faces because they add dimension as well as flatter the face shape.
Round faces have always been warned off the straight bangs. However these need not be totally off limits – they just need to be a bit choppy at the ends, finishing just before they hit your eyes, and not too full.
Long
Texturising and layering, slimming down hair round the face looks great – it reduces bulkiness around the face, allowing the face shape to shine! Long layers are the perfect compliment – so sweeping and feminine!
Short
A really great style is one that is a little shorter at the back and a little longer at the front, hitting between the chin and the shoulder. This is a sexy, edgy look, with a great contrast between the face shape and hairline. One thing to avoid with short hair is rounded bobs sitting at chin level – you are not doing yourself justice with this hairstyle! Try growing it out a little to have it sitting a little lower, and getting the sides trimmed so there is less roundedness.
Curls
Loose, sweeping curls are hot! Avoid tight ringlets round the face – these just add bulk. Keep them full around shoulder height and lower, and loose the bulk around the cheeks and you will have one sexy head!
Straight
If you have a round face and straight hair, I bet you have despaired at times, as straight hair has often been told it is ‘too severe’ for round faces. Well, I disagree – you can certainly make straight hair work for you! Adding layers, shifting the part and going for asymmetric styles is where its at! Because round faces by nature very symmetrical in shape from all angles, they are complimented by asymmetric styles, regardless of whether they are curly or straight.
In an up-do
Have the hair fuller at the crown, and close to the head around the ear and cheek level. This balances the hair and face shape nicely. Conversely, avoid volume at the sides – this will not do your face justice!
VALS GIFT IDEAS FOR HER
VALS GIFT IDEAS FOR HIM
The PORK PIE HAT
the pork pie has been in existence since the 19th century.its shape is like a fedora but with a flattened top and a short crown.it was named after the pork pie because of its striking resemblance.
It was used to describe a stereotype for a British man-about-town style for many years.jazz artists in the 40's and 50's were such huge fans of this hat they made it a statement piece.it was later worn in the 90's by actors.
With artiste going for the retro look, this fashion statement piece got a whole lot popular.due to its popularity among the male folks,it is usually made with diamond crowns, center derts and tear drop crown.this piece is especially good because it is also rocked by females.
Red lights up the Emmy 2011 Awards Red Carpet
American stars of television brought their fashion game on the red carpet at the 2011 Emmy Awards. This year, saw body conscious, mermaid silhouettes and lots of strapless styles.
However, the most apparent trend on the red carpet was the array of gorgeous red gowns, a daring choice for the red carpet.
The red carpet fashion gave observers all over the world like me, the opportunity to view an overwhelming array of haute couture cavalcade of night gowns worn by some of the most beautiful mermaid-like actresses of the moment. Using their unique radiance and charm they managed to allure millions of people to watch the fabulous ceremony. Below, are some of the most stunning red gowns I thought were amazing.
Glee star, Lea Michele looked glamorous and daring, in her red Marchesa gown, which featured a plain front and rosette sleeves but the back really showed lots of skin!
Sofia Vergara- chose a red-orange body-hugging gown by Vera Wang. The one-shoulder ensemble was pure elegance and style! She paired it up nicely, with superb gold and emerald dangling earrings and multiple gold bracelets.
•Kerry Washington:Emmy-Best-Dressed
•Nina Dobrev’s –The Vampire Dairies star, fired up the red carpet even more in her red Donna Karan gown. A strapless mermaid-cut figure-hugging ensemble, that showed off her shapely body. She looked really elegant with her hair loosely hanging on her left shoulder.
