RECENT TESCO(UK GROCERY) HORSE MEAT SCANDAL SEEM TO RAISE CONCERNS IN OTHER COUNTRIES

Recently it was found that tesco meat labelled as beef contained traces of horse-meat in its DNA which some people already consumed and have now been withdrawn from the shelves and is being investigated. In southAfrican, the food scientist say there is water buffalo, donkey and goat meat in mislabels foods including beef burgers and sausages and they were not declared on the product label meat products there has been traces. this violates food labelling regulations and poses economic, religious, ethical and health impacts.
