It looks like the rumors were true.
After much speculation about whether a possible rihanna-chris brown music collaboration might be in the works, the former couple tweeted remixes to their respective songs on her birthday on her birthday Monday...
"@rihanna YIKES!!! Cake, cake, cake!," brown tweetedwith a link to the Rihanna's "Birthday Cake'remix, which features Brown delivering some suggestive lyrics.
But that wasn't all.
Shortly after Rihanna responded with #rihannanavy Come and put ya name on it!!!!! RT@chris brown:@rihanna YIKES!!! Cake, cake, cake!", she went on to tweet her other collaboration with Brown to the masses.
"@chrisbrown Turn up the music remix #rihannanavy #teambreezy enjoy!!!
While the pair seem pleased with the work, the question is whether fans are willing to overlook the memory of brown's 2009 assault against the singer—which at least some people seem not inclined to do—and listen to the music.
